10 hours battery life in new macbook pro 15.4 inch and 13.3 inch

Why Apple don't say like that? It is only 7 hours right? The battery
in macbook pro 13.3 inch able to give power within 7 hours but there
is an asterisk on it:
1. The wireless off or with less activity.
2. The brightness put into the least
3. Typing in a keyboard (including clicking) is not so rapid
4. Speaker is off, the mic also
5. There is no device attached including bluetooth mouse
6. Turn iTunes off
7. The movement of the cursor or trackpad is minimum
8. Only one app running
9. And others that all of them did not allow you to optimize the use
of macbook.

I said that the macbook can life within 10 hours right? It is exactly
yes if you put the macbook always on without any single activity run,
with blank screen but the system is still on.
Why the Apple did not announce the 2 days battery life (in sleep mode,
brghhhh). Or maybe 1 week in off mode?? Yeah, that is the market trick
only. Don't believe it.

People are not so stupid, the use of macbook of course with the rapid
typing and wireless connection. If you play your macbook pro as it
connected to electricity (iTunes on, or playing Youtube) it can only
really give you 50% battery life from Apple formally announced.

Pendidikan apa yang tepat untuk Indonesia?

Pendidikan Moral Pancasila
Enggak tuh. Dari dulu ada loh, dan nyatanya, moral kita ga ada
perubahan sama sekali..

Pendidikan agama
Banyak sekarang yang alim tapi munafik. Di mata orang banyak alim
banget tapi nyatanya... atau katanya dia punya agama yang baik, tapi
kok tingkah lakunya... lho kok? Agama saja, tidak cukup.

Pendidikan dalam keluarga
Nah ini dia yang nggak ada. Sang anak dibiarkan untuk membentuk
karakter tingkah laku mereka sendiri. Orang tua yang bertingkah laku
jelek, anaknya ya..gitu deh. Ini rupanya yang perlu dipupuk,
pendidikan mulai dari keluarga. Tapi dari mana mulainya? Berbagai
penyimpangan, bermula karena tidak ada pendidikan di keluarga.
Contohnya: kalau ada pemberian sumbangan/zakat, orang tidak tahu malu,
semua berlagak miskin. BLT yang tidak karuan. Dan banyak lagi.

Ternyata semua harus bermula dari keluarga.

Nah lo, kapan pinternya?

Beli macbook di Indonesia, harus siap dengan kecewa

Sebenarnya bukan hanya terjadi di tempat kita, di Californiapun,
mungkin juga terjadi kasus claim gagal setelah beli mac. Beli dengan
harga yang mahal setelah menabung setahun, dan tahu tahu, ada cacat
produk yang tidak bisa di claim. Pernah terbaca olehku, ada pembeli
yang beli macbook seharga 12 juta dan kemudian terjadi flickering pada
displaynya. Dan dikembalikan lagi ke agennya. Setelah dibetulkan,
displaynya sudah benar tapi yang terjadi, ada bagian retak di body
bawah. Lalu dia mengklaim lagi yang akhirnya ditolak klaimnya. Satu
sisi, kasian dia, kalau cerita itu benar, disisi lain, jangan jangan
dia mengada ada untuk dapat mac baru.

Sebenarnya, harusnya kalau kita hidup di surga california, macbook
akan diganti dengan yang baru jika masalahnya seperti itu. Maklum aja,
nggak ada Apple Store di tempat kita kan? Kasian ya Indonesia, negara
besar tapi kecil di mata dunia. Siap siapn aja untuk tidak mendapat
servis yang sama dengan di negara asalnya mac, california.

February: high schedule for student in Japan University

Fourth years students
They will have the final presentation at the end of this month.

Second years master's students
At the beginning of this month, they have to send the thesis and now they preparing for the final presentation.

For the students who did the experiment daily, maybe they will spend the time easily but many of them did not do like that.

Install fresh snow leopard from a Snow Leopard upgrade DVD

Not Upgrading

I though that upgrade DVD of Snow Leopard should be Leopard as pre installed. It was wrong completely since I succeeded to install Snow Leopard from this disc. It is clear on the cover of the DVD written "Upgrade DVD" but finally the "upgrade" that Apple mean is move into Snow Leopard.

Cheap

It was only $3,00 right? Really not expensive I think if compare to other OS. 

Not 5GB

The utilization of the hardisk for installation of Snow Leopard was believed to be 5 GB, but finally, I employed about 6 GB to install it into my computer. I have removed unimportant thing such as printer driver and language. May be I missed to remove some thing. After installation, the space decreased 1GB since an update into 10.6.2 needed about 1 GB. I think this is not a problem since a new mac came with big hardisk capacity. 

Yes, the booting time was so fast   

It takes about 30 second until it was loaded completely. The differences between Snow and Leopard may be 30 second as my experience. But it just freshly installed. Once after full installation, I think the booting time will reduce.

Software update apple: lessen my hardrive space

I found many times through software update the unimportant software
update. For example iTunes. Today this update take almost 100 MB of my
HDD space without any differences with the previous iTunes. I don't
have any iTunes account, so, this update is not important for me. I
thinking for long time to update my iTunes or not and finally I
decided to update my iTunes. I afraid if I don't do the update, once I
find important update, I will find difficulty to update that version
since I did not update last version and the display will show to me
"this update can not install to your computer, please install the
previous version".

Kesalahan Indonesia, bermula dari mahasiswa

Mengapa berawal dari mahasiswa? berikut ini alasannya.

1. Sejak awal mula masuk di universitas, sudah diajarkan sikap
sewenang wenang dengan diberlakukannya OPSPEK dan semacamnya. Bukankah
ini adalah bentuk pembelajaran yang tepat untuk mengenal rasa sewenang
wenang? Yang berkuasa dialah yang memerintah, kakak kelasnya akan
memerintah tanpa memperdulikan kemampuan mahasiswa sebagai bagian dari
dendam masa lalu. Yang berkuasa memerintah dengan sekehendak hatinya,
apa apa disuruh membawa Yang tidak perlupun, juga harus dibawa. Yang
tidak adapun, harus diadaadakan. Ini juga kan satu dari potensi sifat
sang penipu.

2. Latihan kok demonstrasi. Hal ini apa coba sisi baiknya. Yang ada
hanyalah menumbuhkembangkan sikap berontak, tidak mau tahu aturan, dan
sikap kasar. Apa nggak ada jalan untuk menegakkan demokrasi selain
dengan demonstrasi? Indonesia belum saatnya untuk demokrasi.

Mestinya, semenjak awal, sudah diajari untuk berlatih memacu prestasi,
misal dengan membuat group cerdas cermat atau lomba ketangkasan. Jadi
mereka sudah dipupuk untuk memfokuskan diri sesuai dengan minat
mereka. Bayangkan kalau ini dilakukan, awal tahun ajaran, akan ramai
dengan yang namanya UGM cup, UNDIP cup, UI cup..
